Farris Building Exhibit Hall

Registration for Fair Premium Catalog entries- FARRIS BUILDING TICKET BOOTH AT THE MAIN GATE.

Only NON-PERISHABLE (i.e. art, photography, crafts, canned goods, etc.) entries will be checked in 10am-2pm, Saturday, July 18, 2015.

BOTH NON-PERISHABLE AND PERISHABLE entries will be taken on Sunday, July 19, 10am- 2pm (ex. fresh produce, baked goods, cut flowers, etc.).
Entries must be picked up 12 noon -4 pm, Sunday, July 26, 2015.

Positively NO exhibits will be accepted before or after those hours. Exception: Quilt Challenge entries must be submitted at the Fair Office on July 13th between 11am and 2pm. Youth must be present to enter exhibits in the youth categories.

Judging will be between 2:30pm-5pm on Sunday, July 19, 2015 with exhibit hall opening to the Public at 5pm on Monday, July 20th.

The New River Valley Fair and Coordinators will not be responsible for items at the Fair. Refer to “General Rules and Regulations, item #6.


  1. New River Valley Fair assumes no responsibility for theft or damage for any item entered to be exhibited.
  2. An attendant is in building when open to the public. In the interest of protecting your exhibit and other exhibits, we ask that you please do not touch or handle any exhibits without first talking to the attendant.
  3. All exhibits should be picked up on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 12 noon-4:00 P.M. Refer to “General Rules and Regulations” in premium catalog. Your claim ticket must be presented to attendant in building before removal. All awards shall be forfeited upon early removal or if articles are not picked up at specified time. Exhibits not picked up will be held at the Fairgrounds Office until August 3, 2015. Phone: (540) 674-1548.
